The Kellas Partnership is the longest established legal firm in both Inverurie and Kemnay with an excellent reputation.

The brief was to update the existing web site which we had designed and maintained for the previous five years by Internet Strategies.

Kellas wished a fresh and modern design, however they also required the ability to update properties themselves, therefore streamlining and driving efficiencies into the business.

Internet Strategies integrated its property management software into the web site. This web based software service provided Kellas with the ability to add edit and delete properties as required. The system is totally scalable and can deal with even the most unusual properties.

The system has the added benefit of producing branded property schedules from the information and images input by the users, therefore avoiding duplication of work as is often the case.

Kellas also chose to take advantage of the mapping module which uses the Google maps API (Application Programming Interface) to produce accurate, bespoke branded maps for each property. This saved Kellas thousands of pounds in postcode / coordinate data, licensing fees that would normally have been required to access this information.

The final part of the jigsaw was the integration of the mailing list management software. This allows visitors to sign up, via the website for property email alerts. Therefore whenever a new property is added users are immediately alerted via a branded email to the addition of a new property.

Users are able to subscribe/unsubscribe (via the website) at will without the required intervention of Kellas staff, ensuring compliance with current EU law.

All the above software was developed by Internet Strategies, allowing us the ability to exactly tailor a solution to meet Kellas’ requirements.

Training in the use of the back end property management system was delivered via the telephone over 3 x 1 hour sessions. The system has been designed from the ground up to be used by non technical staff, with minimal training, and can be managed from any computer with a web connection and a web browser.

Whilst we feel proud of this we continue to work to hopefully push them to the top of the list, where they belong .
