I’ve been approached by another company to renew my Domain Name before I lose it to someone else?
Domain Name fees are charged by the Registration Authority for the lease of a Domain Name (usually bi-annually). The Billing Contact is sent a renewal notice in plenty of time to renew the subscription for a Domain Name. If Internet Strategies acts as your Billing Contact we will check with you that you wish to renew and bill you accordingly. Domain Names that have lapsed are still locked for a period with the Authority that manages them (see Below Registration Authorities)

I cannot find my site on any of the Search Engines?
All the major Search Engines are independent trading companies. They cannot be influenced by independent web developers. In general most Engines say it takes 6 to 8 weeks for them to look at your site and decide whether to list it. There are some hard and fast rules and good design methodologies which Internet Strategies strictly adheres to give your site the best chance of ranking on the most popular engines. If you are relying solely on Search Engines to promote your site call us and we’ll go through some essentials before your site is built. In additional we have a tried and tested search engine promotion plan which your Sales Representative will go through with you. Even Search Engines that offer “pay-to-be-listed” services don’t guarantee inclusion in their indexes.
